Lock Laces Review and Giveaway

Up for review today: Lock Laces. I'm particularly excited to review this product because it solves TWO shoe problems in our house.

The first problem - my kids are too young to tie their shoes. Sometimes it's ok (I love Christopher's Chucks so much I'm willing to tie them anytime he's willing to wear them). Sometimes it's not (Hannah takes off her shoes and takes out the laces every single time we get in the car).

The second problem - I really don't like the look of velcro shoes.

Enter Lock Laces, a patented elastic shoelace that uses a spring activated locking device to guarantee easy-on lace up shoes.  Not only are they great for kids but, "Lock Laces are great for running, triathlon, playing sports and casual wear."  They work with all styles of lace up shoes for adults and children and come in 11 different colors so you can match any shoe.

I purchased Lock Laces for my adult and Christopher's child-sized tennis shoes.  Gone are the days of stopping to retie his shoes.  We can both slip on our tennis shoes before leaving the house and not think about them again until we come home and kick them off by the door.

We're HUGE fans!

Lock Laces has generously agreed to give away five pairs of shoe laces to YOU, my faithful blog readers.  All you need to do is leave a comment on this post by 9PM on February 14.  I will select five winners at random to receive a pair of Lock Laces - and YOU can choose the color!.  Make sure you include an email address if you leave an anonymous comment so I can contact you when you win!

UPDATED:
A big thank you to EVERYONE who entered the Lock Laces Giveaway!  Your comments were great!

If you weren't one of the lucky five you can still order your Lock Laces directly from the company.  At $4.99/pair they are an affordable option for any family.  And you can choose from 11 colors to match any shoe.

  49. Sylvie.

Boy do I need these. Only yesterday I had to stop 20 minutes into my 40 minute treadmill walk/run to retie my shoelaces. Eventhough I saw the lace flapping about, I was tempted to just continue for the remainig 20 minutes BUT that would have been foolish. I imagined all manner of accidents and decided to stop, relace, and continue.

So, these locks would be great. My brother has them on several sneakers.

I'm drawn between the pink and orange creamsicle laces.

    Thanks for the chance.
