Last week's menu plan went really well! I spent less at the grocery store and we ate almost all the leftovers.
The absolute best dish of the week was the ABC Meatball Soup. The kids loved it and both ate big bowls full. It was really tasty and full of veggies. Next time I think I'll add more veggies and less pasta.
The spinach bites had a good flavor but were really dry. If I make them again I'll use bread crumbs instead of stuffing and put in some mozzarella or even feta.
The flatbread turned out really well. Very tasty and just the way flatbread should feel in my mouth. I love being able to successfully make something that I'd normally buy at the store.
This week on our menu:
Monday - Curry chicken, rice and dahl
Tuesday - Family Dinner
Wednesday - Fautisserie chicken, broccoli and pasta
Thursday - Salad with Wednesday's chicken leftovers on top
Friday - Chili green beans and corn cake
Saturday - Leftovers
Sunday - Leftovers/sandwiches
I've made most of these dishes before but next week I'll let you know how these particular curry chicken and dahl recipes work out as well as the chili recipe.
