Tutorials

I have been a little obsessed with craft and sewing tutorials lately.  Not actually making things, just reading about how to do it.  Well actually, I made Hannah a dress that I'll be posting about soon.  Until then, be awed and amazed by these awesome tutorials!  And, if you make one, let me know.  I'd love to see how it turns out!

These covered composition books are super cute and VERY easy! (via Crafty Pod)

I've made a lot of hand bags and purses but this tote is super simple and really cute.  I may be making some more bags soon! (via jordynnmackenzie)

These bookshelves are so awesome!  I think I'm going to get my sis to help me make some while she's in town.  (via raising olives)

Hannah LOVES her softies. She'd really like it if her momma made her this cute little panda. (via Molly Chicken)

Another cute little bag. (via p.s. I quilt)

If I ever get up the courage to make a pair of shoes these are the ones I'm trying.

These grocery bags made from fused plastic bags are awesome! (via dana-made-it)

I love, LOVE this little dress, and the matching baby dress too!

Here's the first tutorial post I did and here is the second. Enjoy!

  1. I like the bookshelves... the gutters look nicer than I imagine they would. I'm thinking about if we would have a good spot for something like that.

  2. Wow, Amy! Those are great tutorials! I love making things and these are inspiring! I like the Fused Plastic Bags. I get frustrated when I leave my canvas shopping bags at home because I despise plastic ones. Now I can love them because I know I can reuse them! This is so freeing!! :-)

  4. I used to cover the composition books for my girls when we went to camp. I would also glue an index card on the front to write their names on it and line it with a ribbon.
I LOVE the tote! Adorable! :)

  5. I have had my eye on those bookshelves for ages. Trying to work out if we have enough room in our playroom as it has lots of big windows and not a lot of wall space.
