Repurposed Post-It Pad Art

It was the end of my work conference last week and we were cleaning up. There were two giant post-it flip chart pads that had gotten wet in an unexpected rain. We were going to throw them away when someone said, "Do you think your kids might want these?" I flipped past the first three ruined pages and found at least half of the pad in perfect condition.

This morning I stuck one piece of paper on each kid's IKEA easel. Hannah drew a huge picture and has taken it from room to room to stick her "poster" up on the walls.

Christopher did a "survey graph" (something he learned in school maybe?) of me and recorded all of my favorites.

I love that this was free, that each page is self-sticking and that the stickiness of a post-it won't ruin anything. I also love how much fun the kids had being creative this morning!!
