The Last Warm Day Of Summer

On Wednesday we enjoyed what will probably end up being The Last Warm Day Of The Summer. I am not in any way suggesting that it was the last warm day of the year, because everyone knows we'll have at least one fall heatwave. But since summer will be officially over next Friday and it was in the 40's here last night... well, you see where I'm going with this.

We went to Grandma's pool. It was a glorious late afternoon, warm and sunny summer day. The water was in the eighties and the kids had a blast.

The highlight of the day was, without a doubt, finding the frog. I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story.

The poor little frog survived his play date with my children... but just barely.

Then the cousins showed up and we had dinner. It was a fabulous Last Warm Day Of Summer.
