Pins I've Tried #1

I just started a new pinboard called Pins I've Tried. I know, not a terrible exciting name, but at least you know what you're getting. (Better name? Leave it in the comments.) I'm going to keep adding the things we try and let you know how each one worked out.

We've had a couple of Pinterest dinners around here and everyone has been pleased with the results! Here are some of our favorites. Click on the links or pictures to go to the recipes.

South Of The Border Chicken And Rice Bake
This one is going in the regular dinner rotation. Tasty but not too heavy. Just enough veggies to balance out the cheese. YUM!

Corn And Chicken Chowder
Another keeper! I always know I've scored big when my husband goes back for seconds. It was easy to make and super quick.

Mini Capres Bites
These were a party hit! Everyone kept saying how fun they were, and tasty too. The first time I made them I didn't cut the tomatoes in half, just to save time. Next time I totally will because these look great!

Peanut Butter Cheese Ball
Like a cheese ball but made with peanut butter and served with graham cracker dippers. Another party hit! I added some rolled oats for texture and used mini chocolate chips for the coating. I kept some home and the kids ate it on spoons for a couple of days after.

  1. I made the same board on my Pinterest account! It makes things easier to find, if people ask you how you did it!
